Welcome to your loom! These videos are listed roughly in order with the first ones at the top. Each skill builds on the one before it, and some basics are mentioned just in the first couple of videos.

If you are just starting on the boomloom, and especially if you are new to weaving, it can help to go through the videos (and bars) in this order: Overview, 1. Getting Started, 2. Needles, Yarn and Starting to Weave, 3. Finishing, 4. Twill & Diamond Bars, 5. Monk’s Belt Overview, 6. Monk’s Belt, 7. Krokbragd. The very first video, Overview, is quick and has all the basics. The “make-it” projects are at the bottom.

Monk’s Belt and Krokbragd use more than one color to make patterns, and so there is more to keep track of with those bars. Krokbragd is probably the most complicated, and is about an intermediate level, however it’s still possible to experiment and make interesting patterns just by playing around on it. I am a big fan of learning by doing and if you just want to dive in somewhere, have at it! I know you will have no problem.
