how-to’s

Welcome to your loom! These videos (in the top half of the page), and the print instructions (in the bottom half), are numbered in the order we recommend viewing them. Each skill builds on the one before it, and some important basics are covered in the first couple of videos. At the bottom of the page are easy-to-read print instructions, screen-reader software friendly.

The very first video, Overview, is quick and has all the basics. The “make-it” projects are at the bottom.

Monk’s Belt is advanced beginner level because it uses more than one color at a time. Krokbragd is about an intermediate level, however it’s still possible to make interesting patterns just by playing around on it. I am a big fan of learning by doing and if you just want to dive in somewhere, have at it! I know you will have no problem.
